Logistics Senior Specialist (Freight Management)

Our client is one of the most reputable and awarded retailers in the international business market. They are currently looking for a Logistics Senior Specialist to join the company.

Job Description:

• Manage logistics operations for consistency and compliance
• Develop, implement, and optimize processes while ensuring SOP alignment
• Conduct periodic reviews against KPIs and analyse data for improvements
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost reduction
• Lead logistics projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project success
• Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively
• Build strong relationships with service providers and internal teams
• Facilitate RFQ processes and negotiate contract terms

Job Requirement:

• Minimum tertiary education with at least 6 years of full-time experience, ideally in Carrier/Freight Forwarder/Buying/Sourcing offices
• Strong experience in reporting and analytics support within the logistics field
• Strong proficiency in both verbal and written English & Mandarin
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a team
• Attention to detail, organizational prowess, and strong coordination and planning abilities
• High computer literacy, including MS Office and Exchange; advanced Excel proficiency
• Familiarity with Logistics IT Software Solutions is considered advantageous
