Job Description
Senior Infrastructure Officer
Responsibilities:
- Assist IT manager on IT system, infrastructure, and security relevant management projects
- Manage IT infrastructure (Including servers, network devices, video conference system, security facilities and IP phones) and other technologies (wireless projection, PC machines, printing items, etc.)
- Supervise and assist IT project implemented by internal IT teams and cooperate with headquarter IT team on infrastructure and cybersecurity relevant projects and tasks, to preform technical assessment, development, and deployment of new solutions and responsible to support business requirement, including virtualisation, backup, disaster recovery, email systems, networking, windows servers, etc.
- Take lead in network, server and client computer troubleshooting and performance review and tuning in clause with any IT infrastructure incidents, changes and demands
- Take up ad-hoc duties assign by IT manager and IT director
- Monitor the performance of secondments, contractors, service providers and vendors where applicable
- Provide software support and training to end users to utilise the IT resources to improve productivity and efficiency
- Adopt cloud infrastructure solution to support headquarter IT projects and company needs
Qualification:
- Degree holder with Computer Science or Information System or IT related disciplines
- At least 3 years’ experience in multinational corporation with large scale IT infrastructure design especially Microsoft Windows platform environment, with strict permission controls and security requirements
- Holder of CCNA, MCSE, ITIL, CISSP and similar certifications will be considered an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft AD, Azure AD, Exchange Online, M365, SharePoint Online, VMWare required. Experience with Dell server, Fujitsu server, Quantum tape library, ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence will be considered an advantage
- Infrastructure project management experience and vendor management experience is preferred, e.g., deployment of server, relocation of IT rooms
- Pro-active and solution-oriented mindset understands governance and framework and designs appropriate solutions
- Good knowledge in audio and visual meeting room equipment. (IoT and audio/video over POE)
- Strong communication skills and works well with others. Manages stakeholders and capable of big picture thinking
- Strong problem-solving skills and good analytical mindset
- Good written and verbal English language skill
