Position Summary

Our client is a reputable wholesale supplier of oil, gas and petrochemicals looking to hire a Trader (Petrochemicals). The incumbent would be responsible generate sales and be involved in full spectrum of trading and shipping process. The incumbent would be responsible to provide commercial input regarding investment plans, able to analyze the market and navigate through both physical and paper markets and devise sophisticated risk management techniques. Responsibilities

• Develop growth strategies that are focused on financial gains as well as both customer and supplier satisfaction.
• Analyze the market to identify the needs of the customers and suppliers.
• Organize business meetings with potential customers and suppliers and promote the company’s products and services that meet the customer requirements.
• Responsible to prepare the sales contracts that are in compliance to legal guidelines and standard.
• Responsible for the coordination of logistics for the delivery of product to customer.
• In-charge of providing the necessary feedback and after-sales support.
• Responsible to establish long lasting relationships with new and existing suppliers and customers.
• Liaise with refineries to confirm the volume purchased in the month.
• Liaise with finance team with regards to collection, and carry out credit structure to suppliers and customers.
• Liaise with business directors to plan operations for the day and develop ideas for improvements.
• Lead the operation team.
• Responsible for unit tracking, supporting clients to import their units, sending invoices and Bills of Landing, and solving any paperwork related issues.
• Analyze the stoppages of all the customers and suppliers and in charge of the final reconciliations with the clients.
• Generate report on the project pipeline, such as the Estimated Time of Arrival of Barges.

Requirements

• Minimally a Degree/Diploma holder in any field.
• A minimum of 5 years of commercial experience related to Oil, Gas, Fuel, Trading markets, Market analyst or any other relevant experience.
• Possess an established client list.
• Knowledgeable on petrochemical sales, operations and logistics.
