Job Description
Our client is a reputable and well-known Local Enterprise with stable business performance over the decades. To cope with their business needs, they are looking for seasoned Software Engineer/ Solutions Architect with hands on experience in PHP & Python as well as AWS / Azure DevOps to join their friendly and work-life balance team and work on internal eCommerce related projects. They offer 19AL, 13-month guaranteed pay and medical benefits covering dependents as well!
The Role:
- Hands on role – 50% on maintenance (including bug fix); 50% development
- Communicate with internal stakeholders on business requirement and work with development team on application solutions design and delivery
- Regularly review existing solutions to improve business performance and systems operations
- Maintain application infrastructure such as AWS EKS, Azure Devops, CICD pipeline, etc.
- Develop, upgrade and migrate existing applications related to eCommerce and Customer Loyalty to improve the IT efficiency
- Manage external vendor to ensure smooth solutions delivery
The Person:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on development experience in PHP (must) & Python (must)
- Experience in Magento and API integration architecture
- Hands on experience in AWS EKS, Azure DevOps, CI/CD or other cloud and container-based orchestration technologies would be nice to have
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Good command of verbal and written English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
