Job Description

My client is looking for a seasoned Data Centre Operation Management personnel to join their company.  They are looking for candidates with both strong technical skills in DC operations to uplift the existing engineering team as well as good sales/ business acumen to bring the company’s business to next level.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage 3 engineering teams (NOC, Facilities and Property Management) to provide high level of Data Centre service availability and operations in HK and Mainland
  • Ensure smooth Data Centre facilities operations such as UPS, Cooling, Power and firefighting system
  • Improve and diverse the facilities and committed services to clients in a good condition to boost sales revenue  
  • Daily review fault cases and regular follow up until resolution
  • Perform project management for Data Centre related developments
  • Prepare regular management reports and manage Data Centre OPEX and CAPEX within budget

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree Holder; MBA holder is a plus
  • A minimum of 20 years’ relevant experiences, preferably with Data Centre operation and management experience with at least 10 years of senior management experience
  • Strong knowledge in entire Data Centre operations from NOC to Facilities and Property Management
  • Skillful in vendor / contract management and negotiable for DC new projects, upgrades or replacement
  • Good business acumen and sales-driven to boost company’s profitability
  • Competent to offer alternative solutions to management team for contingency plan, flexible services and innovative ideas
  • Aggressive, result-oriented and self-motivated with good problem-solving skills  
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • Business travel to mainland is required
