Position Summary

 

Our client is a global batter company, looking to hire Area Sales Manager (APAC). The incumbent is responsible to achieve sales target and establish close relationship with clients. Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible to anticipate market trends such as regulatory changes, market opening, applications changes and more aspects.
  • Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationship with customers and various stakeholders at all levels.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to expand and grow the business in a sustainable way. These strategies may include, Customer Mapping (IPP/EPC/ Financial/TSO-DSO), Competition Analysis, Action Plans and more.
  • Responsible to identify new opportunities and apply the ESS Process.
  • Lead the successful negotiation with the customer and liaise with the legal team for matters such terms and conditions, Guarantee, Terms of payment and more.
  • Develop winning strategy inputs for the Bid & Application Engineer such as identifying the customer needs, competition, financing, target price, differentiation factors, Project risks and support in the preparation of the offer.
  • Responsible for the order/margin budget and provide concrete and actional plan to meet or exceed the targets.
  • Responsible to provide timely reports and input.
  • Oversee the coordination efforts to introduce and communicate new solutions to the targeted market through seminars and exhibition.

 

Requirements

  • Minimally a Bachelors’ or Masters in Engineering or in any relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a sales of technical products and solutions such as turnkey project selling process with utilities, IPPs, Developers, Financials or industrial.
  • Knowledgeable on Grid and Renewable Energy (Markets, Challenged, Constraints, Regulation) and experienced with Energy Storage, PCS, Energy market (Capacity, Ancillary, Merchant).
  • Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close.
  • Able to travel frequently.
