About the Role

The AVP, Market Insights, Social & Content Marketing, Asia is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing localized content and social media strategies across key Asian markets—including China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. This role demands a creative, data-driven thinker who excels in analyzing market trends and transforming insights into engaging content that drives brand awareness, client acquisition, and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis & Content Creation:
    • Analyze Forex and financial market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
    • Produce high-quality market analysis content (e.g., daily updates, trend reports) in both English and Chinese.
    • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Social Media Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement social media strategies tailored to regional platforms (e.g., WeChat, Douyin, Facebook, Instagram).
    • Drive engagement and growth through creative, platform-specific content and strategic campaigns.
    • Monitor performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversion) and optimize tactics to meet KPIs.
  • Content Strategy & Distribution:
    • Create and manage localized content strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs.
    • Oversee content distribution across digital channels, ensuring consistency and brand alignment.
    • Leverage SEO and keyword research to enhance content visibility and organic traffic.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Work cross-functionally with teams (trading, business insights, acquisition) to ensure content accuracy and market relevance.
    • Mentor and guide internal and external contributors to maintain high editorial standards.
    • Lead risk mitigation and crisis management efforts when necessary.

 

Requirements

  • Educational & Professional Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
    • Proven experience in strategic marketing, content creation, and social media management—preferably within the financial services or Forex industry.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Exceptional bilingual copywriting skills in English and Chinese.
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to strategy.
    • Deep understanding of regional social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
    • Proficiency in SEO, keyword research, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
