HR Associate – Pharmaceutical Industry (1 year-renewable contract)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our Human Resources team. The HR Associate will play a key role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for supporting a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support the resolution of employee concerns and escalate issues to the HR Manager as needed.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Process HR-related documentation, such as contracts, amendments, and termination paperwork.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and diversity metrics.
- Support audits and ensure all HR processes adhere to company policies and legal requirements.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiatives for employees.
- Track employee training progress and maintain training records.
Special Projects:
- Support HR projects, such as performance management, employee surveys, and policy updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives that align with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in an HR role, fresh graduate is welcome.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
