Sourcing Operation Officer

Your new client is a global animal health company that specializes in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of high-quality veterinary products. With a focus on providing innovative solutions for livestock, poultry, and companion animals, the company offers a wide range of pharmaceutical products, vaccines, and nutritional supplements. The company operates in multiple countries worldwide, with a strong presence in both developed and emerging markets.

Job Description:

  • Oversee trading activities between the companys global subsidiaries, external manufacturers, and clients.
  • Manage orders from the firms China factory and third-party manufacturers in Asia.
  • Create purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and manage order tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and coordinate with the Financial Controller.
  • Set product pricing in line with the companys transfer pricing policies.
  • Collect market intelligence to support trading decisions.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure profitable business growth.
  • Proactively manage order pipeline and liaise with Business Development Managers for product needs.
  • Coordinate with procurement and sourcing teams on raw material sourcing and receive API orders for 3rd party Asian manufactures
  • Communicate with manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers on pricing and logistics.
  • Organize and file trading documents.
  • Assist the Financial Controller with annual audits and ad hoc projects for the AMEA team.

Requirement:

  • Pharmaceutical, chemicals or healthcare experience, including a degree in a relevant subject
  • Good attention to detail
  • Experience in working in international trading or manufacturing companies, including working with multi-cultural office environment
  • Good experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Experience in working on complex multiparty projects
  • Experience in working with regulated markets
  • Willingness to work flexible working hours when needed
  • Bachelor degree in relevant subject
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
