About the Role

As a Futures Research Analyst, you will track global market trends, analyze futures markets (including commodities, precious metals, and foreign exchange), and produce high-quality investment reports and analysis articles. The role focuses on staying ahead of market changes, providing valuable insights for informed trading strategies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's futures analysis and trading system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze market trends using both value and technical theories to provide insights into futures markets.
  • Write detailed investment strategy reports & articles, covering short-term, medium-term, and long-term market outlooks.
  • Write high-quality analysis articles on trending topics and market events, offering timely insights to traders and investors.
  • Monitor macroeconomic shifts and industry trends, predicting movements in commodities, precious metals, and foreign exchange markets.
  • Develop clear, actionable trading strategies based on market forecasts and trends.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the company's futures analysis and research framework.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a strong background in economic theories and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in pricing models and value analysis for commodities, precious metals, and foreign exchange markets.
  • Strong proficiency in technical analysis, with the ability to apply your own futures analysis and trading systems.
  • Excellent market insight, data editing skills, and basic programming knowledge.
  • Strong professional ethics, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Preference for candidates with Hong Kong permanent residency or a valid Hong Kong work visa.
  • A background in science and engineering, along with proficiency in English, is a plus.
