Job Description
Key Responsibilities
(a) Video Production and Visual Storytelling
- Produce engaging video content, including bite-sized videos for social media, corporate videos, researcher stories, interviews, and event recaps for signature events.
- Utilize visual storytelling techniques to enhance brand presence across digital and print channels.
(b) Design and Content Creation
- Create high-quality designs for various publications, including cover and page layouts, as well as hero banners and campaign pages for the website.
- Design branded souvenirs and promotional materials to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Collaborate with the event and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding in all content.
(c) Content Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and implement content strategies for video and graphic content across digital platforms.
- Tailor content to resonate with diverse audiences, including students, staff, alumni, industry partners, senior officials, and the general public.
- Ensure that all content aligns with branding guidelines and strategic goals.
(d) Brand Management and Consistency
- Develop, update, and maintain branding guidelines, ensuring consistency in the use of logos, key messages, and visual elements across all departments and platforms.
- Serve as an advisory resource on the use of logos and content assets for other departments.
Qualifications
- A recognized degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in branding, video production, and graphic design, along with strong planning and project management skills.
- A robust portfolio showcasing creativity and proficiency in video content and design projects.
- Proficiency in video production and multimedia design, with expertise in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is a plus.
- Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
