Job Description
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company. To cope with their business need, they are looking for a (Senior) Product Specialist with an aspiration in marketing to join their team.
As a (Senior) Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting both sales & marketing functions for assigned portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and R&D, to ensure successful product launches and drive brand growth.
Responsibilities
Sales:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, market trends, and customer needs.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive product adoption and growth
- Conduct sales visits and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals
- Utilize selling skills to ensure customer needs are met and territory sales targets achieved through regular customer contact
- Attend conferences, seminars, CME meetings, etc. to represent the company and gather market insights
Marketing
- Assist in the planning and coordination of product launches, including developing launch materials
- Support the development and execution of product strategies, marketing plans
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations for product positioning and differentiation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product strategies and promotional activities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as product registrations, labelling updates, and post-marketing surveillance reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Collaborate with medical affairs and scientific communications teams to develop scientific materials, including publications, presentations, and educational resources, to support product positioning and scientific engagement
- Handle ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any science disciplines
- 1 – 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
- Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities, with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Good command in both English & Chinese
- Immediate available will be an advantage
