Job Description

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company. To cope with their business need, they are looking for a (Senior) Product Specialist with an aspiration in marketing to join their team.

 

As a (Senior) Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting both sales & marketing functions for assigned portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, and R&D, to ensure successful product launches and drive brand growth.

 

Responsibilities

 

Sales:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market landscape, including competitors, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive product adoption and growth
  • Conduct sales visits and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Utilize selling skills to ensure customer needs are met and territory sales targets achieved through regular customer contact
  • Attend conferences, seminars, CME meetings, etc. to represent the company and gather market insights

 

Marketing

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of product launches, including developing launch materials
  • Support the development and execution of product strategies, marketing plans
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscape, providing insights and recommendations for product positioning and differentiation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product strategies and promotional activities
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, such as product registrations, labelling updates, and post-marketing surveillance reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Collaborate with medical affairs and scientific communications teams to develop scientific materials, including publications, presentations, and educational resources, to support product positioning and scientific engagement
  • Handle ad hoc duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any science disciplines
  • 1 – 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities, with a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good command in both English & Chinese
  • Immediate available will be an advantage
