Safety Officer EHS - (RSO - Registered Safety Officer)
As one of Hong Kong’s Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Companies working on Global Projects across multiple industries, due to rapid expansion to cope with increasing business demands, we are now actively seeking “multiple” EHS Officers to join a team that is continuously growing team.
The successful candidates must be a RSO - Registered Safety Officer of the Labour Department with practical experience in either Construction/Building Services/Data Centres/Environmental Engineering/Water Treatment/Rail/Lifts or Escalators sector, and have the mentality to be an advocate for creating a safe working environment for others.
Responsibilities:
- Joining a team of over 50+ staff on the Environmental Health and Safety Division
- Prepare and review the EHS Management System Documentation, including risk assessment reports, EHS management plans, EHS Instructions, and work hazard risk analysis
- Conduct physical on-site inspections and monitor the implementation of safety plans
- Provide safety training, carrying out safety inspections, accident investigation, promoting safety related reports on site, making recommendations to reduce the recurrence of safety related incidents
- Assist in handling internal and external safety audits
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma Educated in Safety, Health, Engineering, Construction, Science, Environmental or related subjects
- RSO – Registered Safety Officer is a must
- Experienced in working on Construction/E&M/Wastewater/Environmental related projects would be highly desirable
- Experience of working for main contractor / sub-contractor would be ideal
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Adaptable to work on different projects/industries as and when required
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese
