Our client is an International Law Firm based in Singapore providing legal services across various areas of law in wide range of sectors in multiple industries.

About the Role:

As a Regional Marketing Coordinator (International Law Firm), you will report to the Director of Marketing & Business Development, Asia. In this role, you will collaborate closely with attorneys and marketing colleagues to drive revenue through new business opportunities, client expansion programs, and targeted marketing initiatives. Your responsibilities will be integral to supporting the Asia Marketing/Business Development team, spanning various practice groups and sectors across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
  • Collaborate closely with the team to formulate and implement policies and procedures for business development initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive support for proposals, presentations, and pitches aimed at driving revenue growth.
  • Assist in managing the sales pipeline, conducting market research, and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies for market development and client expansion programs.
  • Participate in business development training sessions to enhance attorney skills and effectiveness.
  1. Programs and Visibility Initiatives:
  • Partner with practice group leaders and marketing colleagues to plan and execute a variety of events, client receptions, and alumni programs.
  • Manage sponsorships and activities associated with industry organizations, ensuring alignment with practice group objectives.
  • Champion firm branding initiatives and ensure compliance with related standards on all creative projects.
  • Provide input and recommendations for local marketing programs and budgets to support practice group objectives.
  1. Knowledge Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of practice group activities, status, and team members.
  • Develop and update marketing materials and collateral, including descriptions, engagement lists, client lists, and awards.
  • Utilize firm technologies and external research databases for data management and analysis, including CRM systems, research databases, and intranet resources.
  • Promote visibility of practice group and individual attorneys internally and externally through various channels.
  1. Operations:
  • Support research projects aimed at identifying strategic market opportunities and competitive intelligence.
  • Facilitate effective communication among attorneys and staff, ensuring a well-informed and motivated team effort.
  • Collaborate with local office staff and managers to advance marketing and administrative goals and projects.
  • Serve as a role model for the use of CRM tools in managing the sales pipeline and practice group business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of direct applicable marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other firm applications.
  • Familiarity with overseeing corporate WeChat accounts.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, communication, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in business development or sales is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of professional services industries, preferably within a law firm or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with using LinkedIn and Instagram for promotional purposes.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • High energy, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasm for marketing activities.
