General Merchandising Manager – Woven and Denim
Our client a leader in brand services and supply chain management, demonstrating market-leading competency in all significant apparel and softline. They are currently looking for a General Merchandising Manager to join the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the sourcing and production of the Woven & Denim categories.
- Working closely with the Vice President
- Ensures orders can achieve customer needs and margin expectations.
- Provide strategic business development to enhance the contribution of the team
- Deliver the latest fashion sense and able to evaluate business growth opportunities
- Comprehensive for the profit and loss of the own business area
- Manage vendor performance to ensure compliance to deliver quality standards of the company and those of the customers
- Work with direct reports to develop and maintain the company's annual budget to ensure optimization of boost the group profit
Requirements:
- 10 years of merchandising / production experience in fashion preferred
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain or related
- Experience in tracking record and sales development
- Strong management and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, high level integrity and self-motivated
- A well team player and team leader
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with customers, vendors and internals members
