Job Responsibilities
- Design and assist in the execution of RWE studies utilizing various real-world data sources, including claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and registry data.
- Conduct exploratory data analyses to facilitate evidence generation, feasibility evaluations, and refinement of study designs.
- Participate in database design discussions to ensure high-quality data collection that meets analytical requirements.
- Provide programming and technical expertise to independently deliver analytical results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve data, analytical processes, and programming workflows.
- Manage and contribute to the standardization and automation of data processing workflows, including creating reusable programming templates and refreshing data.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in real-world data programming and analytics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of programming experience in a real-world data environment using R or SQL.
- Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
- Proficient in programming languages such as R, SQL, Python, or SAS.
- Basic knowledge of project planning and management.
- Proficient in PC applications; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
- Would be great if you :
- Familiarity with supporting Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), epidemiology, or medical affairs teams
- Knowledge of data platforms or environments such as AWS, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Understanding of clinical coding systems, including ICD, CPT, and NDC.
