Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and assist in the execution of RWE studies utilizing various real-world data sources, including claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and registry data.
  • Conduct exploratory data analyses to facilitate evidence generation, feasibility evaluations, and refinement of study designs.
  • Participate in database design discussions to ensure high-quality data collection that meets analytical requirements.
  • Provide programming and technical expertise to independently deliver analytical results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve data, analytical processes, and programming workflows.
  • Manage and contribute to the standardization and automation of data processing workflows, including creating reusable programming templates and refreshing data.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in real-world data programming and analytics.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of programming experience in a real-world data environment using R or SQL.
  • Fundamental understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as R, SQL, Python, or SAS.
  • Basic knowledge of project planning and management.
  • Proficient in PC applications; MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are required.
  • Would be great if you :
  • Familiarity with supporting Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), epidemiology, or medical affairs teams 
  • Knowledge of data platforms or environments such as AWS, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • Understanding of clinical coding systems, including ICD, CPT, and NDC.
