(Senior) Medical Advisor – Oncology | Multiple Openings

Our client, a global biopharmaceutical leader with a strong focus on innovation and patient-centric care, is expanding its oncology portfolio and seeking multiple (Senior) Medical Advisors to join its Medical Affairs team in Hong Kong. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the launch and growth of transformative cancer therapies in a high-impact therapeutic area with significant unmet medical needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Scientific Engagement: Deliver accurate, balanced, and up-to-date scientific information to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders across the oncology portfolio.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape brand strategy and support commercial decision-making with medical insights.
  • Medical Projects: Lead and support medical initiatives including clinical trials, investigator-sponsored studies, and scientific exchange programs.
  • Compliance & Ethics: Ensure all activities align with ethical standards, local regulations, and industry codes of practice.
  • Medical Review: Contribute to the development and review of promotional materials, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
  • Market Access Collaboration: Partner with regulatory and market access teams to support submissions and high-level documentation.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the company in scientific discussions and contribute to the development of medical strategies that enhance patient outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Biomedical Science, Pharmacy, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with HKAPI Code of Practices and good clinical practice
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Medical Affairs
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, or Master’s in a related field)
