Our client, a globally recognized nutrition leader with a strong portfolio and innovative approach, is expanding its commercial team in Hong Kong. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented (Assistant) Key Account Manager to support the development of key accounts and contribute to strategic sales execution across major retail chains.


Key Responsibilities

  • Account Development: Support the management of key retail accounts such as Mannings, Watsons etc. fostering long-term partnerships and driving consistent sales growth.
  • Promotional Execution: Assist in implementing annual promotional plans and brand strategies at store level, including product distribution, shelf placement, and promotional displays.
  • Sales & Marketing Coordination: Ensure timely execution of sales initiatives and support the evaluation and optimization of trade spending.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including finance, trade marketing, digital, and supply chain to align on sales strategies and execution plans.
  • Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating commercial terms and promotional agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Market Intelligence: Share insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Data Utilization: Apply data effectively in sales planning and reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Sales Manager or Management.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in key account management within the FMCG industry.
  • Prior experience managing Mannings or similar key accounts is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Cantonese.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Energetic, open-minded, and collaborative with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
