Job Title: IT Support Engineer

About the Role:
We are representing our client, a leading IT consulting company based in Hong Kong, currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team and provide exceptional IT support to their financial industry client in Malaysia.

In this role, you will deliver end-to-end IT support, ensuring seamless operations for finance-related IT systems. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies such as Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and server virtualization, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and contribute to system optimization. Location: Q Sentral, Jalan Stesen Sentral 2, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur (with opportunities for overseas assignments)

Type: Full-time | RM5,000 – RM7,000/month

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (overtime available on holidays and weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver first-line technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, account access problems, and basic network connectivity.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
• Conduct system diagnostics and collaborate with advanced support teams for resolution.
• Assist with system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
• Develop and update knowledge base articles and provide training support for new engineers.
• Occasionally travel to Singapore or other locations for client-related assignments.

What We’re Looking For:

Skills and Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, and Windows Server environments.
• Basic knowledge of networking and backup systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows desktop systems.
• Microsoft certifications are a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Cantonese proficiency is a bonus).
