Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmaceutical Trading Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing the trading activities of the Hong Kong office. Your responsibilities will include:
- Order Management: Receive and manage orders from company’s entities and clients, including Mainland factory orders and API orders from third-party Asian manufacturers.
- Documentation: Draft purchase orders, proforma invoices, packing lists, and commercial invoices for various stakeholders.
- Communication: Ensure clear and effective communication between different entities and customers while tracking purchase orders across multinational clients.
- Financial Coordination: Maintain accurate records of transactions in collaboration with the Financial Controller.
- Pricing Leadership: Lead product pricing in alignment with client’s transfer pricing policies.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to support trading activities.
- Order Pipeline Management: Proactively manage the pipeline of orders coming through Hong Kong.
- Collaboration: Liaise with Business Development Managers and procurement teams to align product needs and sourcing strategies.
- Documentation Organization: Organize and file trading documents efficiently.
- Audit Support: Assist the Financial Controller with the annual audit.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field in pharmaceuticals, chemicals, healthcare or relevant disciplines.
- Professional Experience: Experience in international trading or manufacturing companies, particularly in regulated markets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and take initiative.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.
