Job Description
Our client is a collaborative organization that brings together diverse sectors to drive life science innovations, fostering collaboration across leading regional enterprises. They are looking for a (Senior) Business Development Manager for their life science sector to drive regional development and business collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize business opportunities within the Life Science and health technology sectors to drive regional development
- Develop and sustain strategic alliances across cross-functional companies, academic institutions, research institutions, and any related parties globally to optimize resources and funding opportunities.
- Organizing events and networking seminars to build a cohesive community to facilitate regional intellectual exchange among diverse sectors that aligns with our client's vision.
- Identify opportunities and collaborate with global stakeholders to drive innovations.
- Work alongside teams in incubation and partnership programs to provide customized support, mentorship, and resources to startups and accelerator networks.
- Collaborate with public authority to support policy advocation, and provide industrial insights to shape regulatory framework.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or any related field; a master’s degree or higher is preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in life science sector, preferably with international exposures with new innovations projects.
- In-depth knowledge of global trends in life science sectors.
- Strong commercial skills and strong market sense and knowledge to identify market opportunities and support the innovation commercialization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in verbal and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin; additional language would be a plus
