Mechanical Engineer – (Energy Storage Systems)
This global leading provider of complete Turnkey Energy Storage Systems in now actively seeking a Mechanical Engineer who comes from a strong engineering background to join their growing team. The Mechanical Engineer will study areas of improvements and carry out optimization studies for the Energy Storage System
Job Duties:
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager
- Act as the bridge to make good connection between design team and Chinese suppliers
- Conduct First Article Inspection for new components and products for sub-system
- Support Big Data Exchange mechanical design team for development and improvement of Bespoke Energy Storage Systems
- Define necessary mechanical check points during manufacturing process
- Manage changes in structure and industrial equipment and contribute to improving production performance by testing of the products
- Propose improvements on the design on the Energy Storage System products
- Carry out industrialization inspection of new products
- Provide technical support to the team
Requirements:
- Degree educated of higher in Mechanical Engineering / Structure Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience within a MNC Project Engineering Company
- Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering Processes
- Ability to se CREW software for development
- Strong configuration management, project engineering delivery, and technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (Chinese)
- Ideally worked in a MNC environment
- Candidates with prior mechanical/structure design experience of outdoor HVAC Systems, Outdoor Cabinets, and Outdoor Industrial Battery systems would be highly advantageous
- Based in Hong Kong, travelling around APAC will be required for this role
- Passion for working towards Net Zero Carbon Emission
