This Hong Kong-based opportunity will involve close collaboration with local, regional and global teams to deliver technology solutions across key business functions.

About the Role

As Associate Manager, IT Solutions Delivery, you will be part of the Information Systems team and work closely with internal business functions, technology teams and external partners.

You will lead the design and end-to-end delivery of technology solutions aligned with business priorities and the broader IT strategy. The role covers solution delivery, architecture coordination, cloud adoption, AI-enabled applications, and vendor and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions that align with business requirements and technology strategy.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and quality.
• Apply working knowledge of application, data and integration architecture when reviewing proposed solution designs.
• Partner with enterprise architects and relevant technology teams to ensure alignment with organisational standards.
• Guide cloud service selection across platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Collaborate with platform teams to support observability, operational performance and cost management.
• Lead the delivery of AI-enabled use cases from proof of concept through to production.
• Manage vendor sourcing, statements of work, commercial discussions and performance reviews.
• Build effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and maintain clear project communications.
• Support delivery governance using Agile, DevOps and established project management practices.

Requirements

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of IT experience, including four or more years in application or platform delivery.
• Demonstrated experience executing technology projects from initial planning through to implementation.
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile, DevOps and project governance.
• Experience managing project scope, risk, budget, delivery quality and timelines.
• Practical exposure to Java or .NET-based services.
• Experience with data warehousing platforms, such as Amazon Redshift.
• Experience developing or delivering business intelligence solutions, such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong stakeholder management, vendor negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders from different cultures and business backgrounds.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin.

Desirable

• Familiarity with enterprise application, data and integration architecture.
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure, AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience coordinating or delivering AI-enabled solutions, including chatbots, natural-language-to-SQL assistants or AI agents.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
• Willingness to travel when required.
