About the Opportunity
Our client, a reputable multinational healthcare organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Tender Management to oversee and enhance their tender and quotation function in Hong Kong. This confidential role will lead the full tender lifecycle across a wide portfolio of pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and medical device products.
The position offers significant visibility, cross‑functional collaboration, and strategic influence in driving successful tender outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Review & Strategy
- Review and interpret tender documents to evaluate compliance criteria, scope, and bidding strategy.
- Formulate competitive and compliant tender responses to maximize award success.
Tender Preparation & Submission
- Lead the end-to-end preparation of quotations and tender documentation.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to gather product data, pricing, regulatory information, and supporting materials.
- Ensure all submissions meet required standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain complete tender records, including clarifications, correspondences, and supporting documents.
- Manage regulatory‑related documentation needs, including formal changes and product or company information updates.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the tender process.
- Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and relevant stakeholders to resolve tender‑related inquiries.
Post‑Tender & Administrative Follow-up
- Communicate award results internally.
- Oversee administrative requirements such as documentation, financial guarantees, and related follow‑ups.
Process Improvement & Leadership
- Enhance internal SOPs to improve efficiency, accuracy, and confidentiality in tender operations.
- Lead and develop a small team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
- Strong background in tender or quotation management, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical products.
- Solid understanding of tendering processes, procurement frameworks, and documentation requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
