Job Description
About the Role
Join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing prostate cancer care in Hong Kong, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving access to innovative therapies and shaping clinical practice. As a Key Account professional, you’ll combine strategic account management, deep therapeutic expertise, and stakeholder collaboration to improve patient outcomes and achieve territory success in the prostate cancer space.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and execute tailored account plans for targeted hospitals, clinics, and healthcare institutions, aligning with broader brand strategy and product lifecycle objectives for the prostate cancer portfolio.
* Cultivate and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key healthcare professionals (KOLs, urologists, medical oncologists, hospital administrators, and treatment teams) to position therapies as integral to prostate cancer management.
* Build and maintain comprehensive therapeutic expertise in prostate cancer and product knowledge to articulate clear scientific, clinical, and patient-centric value propositions to stakeholders.
* Ensure seamless integration of therapies into hospital systems, procurement processes, and clinical pathways, advocating for optimal patient access and broad adoption across public and private healthcare settings in Hong Kong.
* Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for your territory and surrounding areas, contributing to the growth of the prostate cancer portfolio through proactive account management and stakeholder engagement.
* Gather and analyze marketplace insights (competitive dynamics, clinical practice trends, stakeholder needs) to inform strategy refinement and enhance territory-specific value propositions.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive, impactful initiatives that support brand objectives and improve patient outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications
* University degree in any discipline (life sciences, healthcare, business, or related fields preferred but not required).
* Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply — comprehensive training will be provided to build expertise in oncology, account management, and pharmaceutical sales.
* Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin), with exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining a patient-first mindset.
Desirable Attributes
* Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare account management, or urology/oncology-related fields is a plus (not mandatory for entry-level roles).
* Familiarity with Hong Kong’s healthcare system (public/private hospital operations, procurement processes, and clinical practice guidelines for prostate cancer) is advantageous.
* Passion for oncology care and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of prostate cancer patients through innovative therapies.
Career Flexibility
This position is open at three levels, with placement determined by your experience:
* Key Account Associate: Ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals eager to launch their career in pharmaceutical account management.
* Senior Key Account Associate: For candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in healthcare sales or account management.
* Key Account Executive: For experienced professionals with 3+ years of proven success in pharmaceutical sales or key account management (urology/oncology focus preferred).
The role offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive training programs, and clear career progression pathways to support your growth as a leader in prostate cancer care.
This version is fully product-agnostic while retaining the focus on prostate cancer, Hong Kong market dynamics, and core key account responsibilities. If you’d like to adjust the experience requirements, emphasize specific skills (e.g., cross-functional collaboration, data analysis), or refine the tone to be more concise/formal, feel free to share further adjustments!
