Job Description
Our client is a rapidly expanding government entity on innovation, they are on the lookout for a visionary and technical leader to oversee internal enterprise application ecosystem while leading the system architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibility
- Strategic Partnering: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into scalable, secure, and efficient application strategies.
- Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end application lifecycle—from ideation and development to testing, launch, and ongoing support. Ensure timely delivery and quality execution across all phases.
- Vendor Management: Lead external partners and vendors with precision, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and performance standards.
- Technical Oversight: Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for critical systems. Ensure seamless operations and rapid resolution of application issues.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation. Conduct user training to promote adoption and best practices.
- Security & Compliance: Champion application security by implementing robust controls, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and guide a team of IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Short notice period (1 month) or immediately available will be a highly preferred
- 12+ years of experience in IT application development, project delivery, and vendor management
- Proven success in leading application teams and managing third-party service providers
- Deep understanding of SaaS platforms (CRM, HRMS, ERP, PMS, FMS) and smart building technologies
- Experience in property development or large-scale property management is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical mindset with a business-first approach to technology
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Manager-level role.
