Senior Manager - Indirect Procurement
Our client is a sizable government-subvented organization with well structure management team, they are looking a Senior Manager - Indirect Procurement to play a business partnering role with multiple category stakeholders.
Job duties:
- Responsible for establishing the Procurement Department to implement procurement strategies and programmes that improve the company efficiency and effectiveness
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand existing procurement operating model and make suggestions
- Execute the transition of current procurement practices, and implement the best practices for procurement on various categories
- Manage and modify the end-to-end procurement process from tendering process
- Negotiating with suppliers to achieve the business and contract terms, contracting process including administration and post-execution
- Responsible for all indirect procurement activities during whole process, from category managing, budget analysis, market research, vendor sourcing, negotiation and supplier management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance and monitor supplier performance, including manage the supplier database and build a robust supplier network
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Administration or related discipline. Holder of CIPS will be an advantage.
- At least 10 years’ relevant experience in large scale companies with experience of end-to-end indirect procurement process.
- Solid experience in using e-procurement system is required.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills in managing different stakeholders.
- Good presentation, communication and negotiations skills.
- Highly self-initiatives, problem-solving with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
