Our client is a global real estate development, investment and property management company. They are looking to hire a Finance Manager who will mainly be overseeing their consolidation and reporting function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving month-end closings, overseeing intercompany reconciliations, and spearheading the implementation of new technologies for enhanced efficiency. Job Description
- Lead the timely month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee intercompany reconciliations and prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly group consolidation reports.
- Prepare full sets of financial statements for both group and statutory audit purposes, managing the audit process and liaising with auditors.
- Drive the migration and implementation of new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems for consolidation.
- Act as a key driver in implementing group policies, processes, and systems.
- Support ad-hoc projects aimed at process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- A Degree in Finance or Accountancy with a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or ACCA or any equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
- Proficient in GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Experience in leading finance system implementations, with a preference for familiarity with S4Hana and BPC.
- Knowledge of the real estate or fund industry is advantageous.
