Our client is a US established company specializes in the trading of frozen F&B related products. In view of their regional expansion, they are looking to welcome a new Sales Executive, Asia to be based in Singapore to be the main point of contact for local and regional clients. Regional coverage: Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Manila, Utrecht, Atlanta, and Porto Alegre
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong ties with current clients in greater Asia, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling commodity frozen food products and proprietary branded programs.
- Actively seek new business in the region, conducting market research to understand customer needs and trends to drive growth.
- Execute effective sales strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet revenue targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform decisions and adapt sales strategies.
- Skillfully negotiate pricing and terms, manage contract lifecycles, and address concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with internal teams for seamless coordination in logistics, finance, and marketing, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years sales or trading experience, related working experience in import/exports and/or Frozen F&B products (frozen meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables) is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skill.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.
- Fluency in English and a second language of the regions covered under this position would be an added advantage.
