Job Description
This global renewable energy storage company has developed innovative and sustainable technology solutions to provide safe and reliable battery solutions to empower the industries and cities, and also locations in extreme weather and remote environments. Currently they are looking for a regional sales manager to join the team and report to the APAC head.
Job Responsibilities
- Anticipate market trends such as regulatory changes, market opening, applications changes and more aspects
- Build and maintain strong and long-lasting relationship with customers and various stakeholders at all levels
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to expand and grow the business in a sustainable way
- Identify new opportunities and apply the ESS Process
- Lead the successful negotiation with the customer and liaise with the legal team
- Develop winning strategy inputs for the Bid & Application Engineer such as identifying the customer needs, competition, financing, target price, differentiation factors, Project risks and support in the preparation of the offer
- Calculate order/margin budget and provide concrete and actional plan to meet or exceed the targets.
- Introduce and communicate new solutions to the targeted market through seminars and exhibition
Requirements
- Bachelors’ or Masters in Engineering or in any relevant field.
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a sales of technical products and solutions with utilities, IPPs, Developers, Financials or industrial.
- Knowledgeable on Renewable Energy (Markets, Challenged, Constraints, Regulation)
- Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close
- 30% travel in the region
