Job responsibilities

Qualifications
- Degree holder with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience
- Proven expertise in branding and marketing, including campaign management, digital content strategy, and social media.
- Strong background in event management and storytelling, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional planning and project management skills, with the ability to analyze data and deliver insights.
- Creative and strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
Job Duties
- Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with IT and cybersecurity, as well as software and hardware management.
- Develop and implement the IT strategic plan in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities such as proposal writing, tendering, and vendor sourcing to ensure project goals and objectives are met within specified timeframes and budgets. Liaise with vendors and other departments/users for system enhancements and development, utilizing stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure operational efficiency by reviewing and advising on the procurement, vendor management, and maintenance of hardware, software, network systems, and IT applications.
- Keep informed about emerging system solutions, trends, and new technologies to formulate IT strategies for management and the Information Technology Committee, including establishing goals, priorities, policies, and cost management to achieve optimal performance in reliability, efficiency, recoverability, and innovation.
- Oversee the IT Department to ensure operational efficiency in project management, infrastructure, applications, systems, technical support, and cybersecurity. This includes job allocation, coaching, supervision, training, and development of team members.
- Provide training, professional advice, and support to departments and service units regarding IT matters such as corporate websites, social media, online donations and payments, and training platforms.
- Prepare and manage IT budgets and expenses to assess technological performance and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Implement robust data management and cybersecurity measures to protect consumer data and ensure compliance with industry and legal regulations.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in IT at a managerial level, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a major corporation. Must be a quick learner capable of adapting smoothly to non-profit environments.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.
- Knowledgeable in network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi APs, VPNs, anti-spam, anti-virus, and IT security.
- Proven success in developing and managing large-scale projects, with the ability to engage stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire team members.
- Proficient in Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365 administration, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, MS SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Energetic, proactive, resourceful, and a strategic thinker.
- Extensive experience in IT planning and management, project management, network and server administration, security monitoring, and help desk support supervision.
- Act as an ambassador for user departments and key stakeholders to address their needs and requirements.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Job Purpose
We are seeking an innovative and visionary leader to strategically guide our information technology operations and drive technological advancements across the organization. This role aims to enable the Society to enhance its service performance and achieve its vision, mission, and organizational goals in helping children with special educational needs (SEN).
The Head of Information Technology will lead a committed team and provide strategic advice as part of the senior management team. Work closely with the Service Team, Internal Department, and IT Committee to ensure a cohesive technological approach.

Job Duties
