Summary
As an Industry Sales Specialist within the International Sales Organization, you will be responsible for driving new business and revenue growth by selling company’s Credit Risk solutions across targeted verticals and international regions.
You will leverage your deep domain expertise to identify customer needs, deliver impactful solutions, and generate measurable growth. Success in this role hinges on your ability to navigate complex organizations, influence decision-makers, and execute with precision to meet revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full sales lifecycle, encompassing initial contact, relationship development, solution presentation, contract negotiation, and a seamless transition to client success teams.
- Drive revenue growth for the company’s Credit Risk solutions across targeted verticals and international markets by executing strategic sales plans.
- Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximize customer value and enhance account penetration.
- Develop and implement a buyer engagement strategy as a key element of the overall account plan to expand business opportunities.
- Partner with the Director of Sales to define and achieve sales growth targets that align with broader revenue and profitability objectives.
- Build deep expertise in key business challenges, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor capable of aligning TransUnion’s solutions with customer needs.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to strengthen relationships with existing customers, including key buyers, decision-makers, and influencers.
- Deliver compelling presentations that clearly articulate TransUnion’s value proposition, propose tailored solutions, and effectively address objections.
- Oversee the full client lifecycle, including onboarding, business-as-usual (BAU) operations, and contract renewals.
- Drive customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) through proactive engagement, consistent communication, and delivery of best-in-class service.
- Gather and share market, customer, and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and product development.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders—including Line of Business teams, Global Solutions SMEs, pre-sales engineers, and account managers—to support complex sales pursuits.
- Collaborate with Solutions and Line of Business teams to ensure that the Voice of the Customer is reflected in product innovation and go-to-market strategies.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of experience in Credit Risk solutions, with a robust background in credit life cycles and banking products. Possesses a deep understanding of Credit Risk functions, covering end-to-end credit cycles, scorecards, analytics, regulatory practices, and emerging industry trends.
- Strong awareness of challenges and needs within the Banking, Fintech, and related lending industries.
- Proven track record of success in B2B and B2B2C channel programs, consistently achieving quotas and goals.
- Proficient in value-based selling, employing ROI and TCO models rather than competing solely on features or price.
- Skilled in identifying strategic client pain points and developing compelling value propositions.
- Demonstrated expertise in client engagement, including prospecting, relationship-building, deal-making, negotiating, and closing.
- Experienced in complex contract and legal negotiations.
- Capable of conceptualizing, developing, and executing complex solutions and go-to-market strategies.
- Consulting experience with both internal and external stakeholders across international markets.
- Skilled in navigating large, complex organizations to identify key decision-makers and influencers.
- Strong ability to build relationships in a team-selling environment, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive approach. Proven capability to interface with C-level executives and cultivate strategic partnerships.
- Established relationships within the credit risk management ecosystem, including regulators, industry bodies, and key stakeholders in the broader credit risk management landscape.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills—articulate, persuasive, and engaging.
