Job Duties

• Identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with IT and cybersecurity, as well as software and hardware management.
• Develop and implement the IT strategic plan in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities such as proposal writing, tendering, and vendor sourcing to ensure project goals and objectives are met within specified timeframes and budgets. Liaise with vendors and other departments/users for system enhancements and development, utilizing stakeholder feedback for continuous improvement.
• Ensure operational efficiency by reviewing and advising on the procurement, vendor management, and maintenance of hardware, software, network systems, and IT applications.
• Keep informed about emerging system solutions, trends, and new technologies to formulate IT strategies for management and the Information Technology Committee, including establishing goals, priorities, policies, and cost management to achieve optimal performance in reliability, efficiency, recoverability, and innovation.
• Oversee the IT Department to ensure operational efficiency in project management, infrastructure, applications, systems, technical support, and cybersecurity. This includes job allocation, coaching, supervision, training, and development of team members.
• Provide training, professional advice, and support to departments and service units regarding IT matters such as corporate websites, social media, online donations and payments, and training platforms.
• Prepare and manage IT budgets and expenses to assess technological performance and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Implement robust data management and cybersecurity measures to protect consumer data and ensure compliance with industry and legal regulations.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in IT at a managerial level, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a major corporation. Must be a quick learner capable of adapting smoothly to non-profit environments.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field.

• Knowledgeable in network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi APs, VPNs, anti-spam, anti-virus, and IT security.
• Proven success in developing and managing large-scale projects, with the ability to engage stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, mentor, and inspire team members.
• Proficient in Linux, Microsoft Windows Server, Office 365 administration, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, MS SQL Server, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Energetic, proactive, resourceful, and a strategic thinker.
• Extensive experience in IT planning and management, project management, network and server administration, security monitoring, and help desk support supervision.
• Act as an ambassador for user departments and key stakeholders to address their needs and requirements.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Key Responsibilities

(a) Video Production and Visual Storytelling

• Produce engaging video content, including bite-sized videos for social media, corporate videos, researcher stories, interviews, and event recaps for signature events.
• Utilize visual storytelling techniques to enhance brand presence across digital and print channels.

(b) Design and Content Creation

• Create high-quality designs for various publications, including cover and page layouts, as well as hero banners and campaign pages for the website.
• Design branded souvenirs and promotional materials to enhance visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with the event and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding in all content.

(c) Content Strategy and Implementation

• Develop and implement content strategies for video and graphic content across digital platforms.
• Tailor content to resonate with diverse audiences, including students, staff, alumni, industry partners, senior officials, and the general public.
• Ensure that all content aligns with branding guidelines and strategic goals.

(d) Brand Management and Consistency

• Develop, update, and maintain branding guidelines, ensuring consistency in the use of logos, key messages, and visual elements across all departments and platforms.
• Serve as an advisory resource on the use of logos and content assets for other departments.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in branding, video production, and graphic design, along with strong planning and project management skills.
• A robust portfolio showcasing creativity and proficiency in video content and design projects.
• Proficiency in video production and multimedia design, with expertise in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is a plus.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About the Role:
This position is responsible for managing the gallery’s daily operations, curating exhibitions that articulate the university's legacy and aspirations, and ensuring a positive and insightful visitor experience. You will also lead a team of docents, managing archives, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the gallery’s content and displays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily gallery operations and ensure an engaging visitor experience.
• Curate exhibitions that effectively showcase the university's history, achievements, and vision, ensuring the content is engaging and accurate.
• Organize and maintain archives for exhibitions and references.

• Act as docent at times, conducting tours and training a team of alumni, retirees, and students to deliver high-quality guided tours.

• Collaborate with curators, vendors, and consultants to enhance the gallery's exhibitions and interactive features.
• Oversee scheduling and performance of docents, ensuring consistent tour quality.
• Monitor content management systems to maintain accurate and user-friendly displays.

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in galleries, museums, or exhibitions in university/education sector.
• Expertise in curatorial practices, exhibition planning, and collection management.
• Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Photoshop or multimedia tools is a plus.
