Role Overview
The Licensing Manager will lead sales and business development initiatives, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with licensing agreements. This role requires strategic planning, market analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver revenue targets and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development

Drive direct sales for assigned brands, categories, or markets, meeting quarterly and annual targets.

Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, conduct gap analysis, and manage forecasting and re-forecasting processes.

Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including brand extensions and market expansion.

Prepare market and category reports to assess trends, competitive landscape, and growth potential.
Client Management and Service

Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees and partners, ensuring adherence to licensors’ policies and guidelines.

Design and execute business management calendars covering sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and brand-building activities.

Provide ongoing support to licensees for sell-in, retail programs, and sell-through activities.
Compliance and Performance Monitoring

Conduct regular business reviews with licensees to track product development, distribution, and promotional activities.

Ensure timely submission of royalty reports and license fees in collaboration with the Finance team.
Retail and Marketing Support

Partner with marketing teams to secure retail visibility and implement approved marketing collateral.

Develop retail programs and promotional calendars to strengthen brand presence and consumer engagement.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related fields.

3–5 years of experience in consumer products, licensing, or brand management.

Strong understanding of branding, retail marketing, and digital channels.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and achieve financial targets.

Excellent planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools.

Fluent in English (oral and written).
