Key Focus
The role is responsible for leading and supporting the entire lifecycle of enterprise ERP systems implementation, customization, and integration within the IT department. The aim is to ensure that the ERP system meets business requirements, optimizes operational processes, and facilitates seamless data flow throughout the organization. Leveraging expertise in ERP modules, implementation methodologies, and technical development, the incumbent will drive successful system deployment, enhancement, and maintenance to support the company's goals in digital transformation and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Engage in the full lifecycle of ERP system implementation, which includes requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
- Design and implement ERP system customizations and secondary development based on business needs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that custom features fulfill operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain ERP system interfaces using technologies like Webservice/API to ensure seamless data integration with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, SCM).
- Conduct database operations (SQL), including query writing, data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting to support system configuration, customization, and issue resolution.
- Provide ERP domain expertise and technical guidance to internal development teams throughout the development process.
- Document configurations, customization details, interface specifications, and operational procedures for effective knowledge transfer and system maintainability.
- Offer end-user training and support, addressing inquiries related to the ERP system and resolving operational issues promptly to minimize business disruption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with full lifecycle ERP system implementation within an enterprise.
- Familiarity with the module functions and implementation methodologies of mainstream ERP systems.
- Knowledge of ERP system secondary development principles, Webservice/API interface development, and data integration technologies.
- Understanding of database management systems and SQL operations, along with basic software development logic.
- Knowledge of enterprise business processes (e.g., finance, supply chain, manufacturing) as they relate to ERP application.
- Awareness of system integration standards and practices; experience with big data module integration is preferred.
- Proficient in ERP system configuration, customization, and secondary development, with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Skilled in SQL programming for data querying, manipulation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong capabilities in Webservice/API interface design, development, and testing.
- Excellent project management skills, able to lead or participate in ERP implementation projects and manage timelines, resources, and risks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working closely with cross-functional teams (business departments, IT development teams) and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify, analyze, and resolve technical and operational issues related to ERP systems.
- Good documentation skills, able to create clear and comprehensive system documents, user manuals, and training materials.
- Proven experience in ERP secondary development and Webservice/API interface development.
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Oracle ERP Cloud Certification) is an advantage.
- Experience in information system integration or docking with big data modules is preferred.
