Key Responsibilities

  • Drive initiatives for digital transformation, focusing on the integration of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aimed at enhancing business agility and efficiency.
  • Inspire the organization by advocating for emerging technological trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge and evolve into a leading public transport enterprise through innovative digital initiatives.
  • Establish technology standards and governance frameworks, ensuring best practices are enforced across the organization.
  • Oversee the design, integration, deployment, and maintenance of technology projects, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with leaders from various departments to identify technology opportunities, define project requirements, and enhance user experiences.
  • Manage IT budgets, allocate resources, and maintain vendor relationships to optimize technology investments and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage technology teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards while implementing robust cybersecurity practices.
  • Oversee risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning for technology operations.
  • Safeguard all hardware and software assets, ensuring the reliable operation of critical systems.
  • Ensure the timely delivery and implementation of ERP projects.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in technology or a transport-related field, including at least 10 years in a managerial role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, a transport-related field, or Business Administration.
  • Proficient in managing ERP projects.
  • Stay updated on the latest information technology trends that could potentially disrupt the business.
  • Excellent understanding of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Strong grasp of big data and data analytics.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a creative mindset.
  • Strong strategic and business acumen.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Familiarity with the operations of transportation/logistics disciplines in Hong Kong; international experience is a plus.
