About the Role:
The Licensing Manager role will be responsible for devising sales strategies and techniques to engage potential clients, generating leads, and converting them into successful business deals. This role also focuses on servicing clients and establishing strong relationships to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all sales planning and reporting functions, including pipeline building, gap analyses, forecasting, and re-forecasting.
  • Manage the annual operating plan and quarterly forecasting process, developing licensee objectives and strategies in collaboration with various teams to drive business growth.
  • Actively cultivate and manage relationships with local partners, both new and existing.
  • Execute contract negotiations for certain accounts while keeping key stakeholders informed.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to support product sales.
  • Execute new business development pitches and conduct research projects to identify scalable opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the consumer products business.
  • Strong background in branding and retail marketing is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and manage cross-departmental collaboration to achieve financial targets.
  • Experience in developing team performance.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Strong understanding of digital, social, and brick-and-mortar marketing.
  • Good commercial and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written) is essential.
