Responsibilities

  • Develops a broad network of contacts and cultivates relationships across various levels and departments within prospective clients, fostering advocates in the Hong Kong Contract Logistics sector.
  • Keeps abreast of customers' businesses, industries, and sectors to identify opportunities and demonstrate how company can add value to their supply chains.
  • Executes sales initiatives effectively and maintains a pipeline to drive revenue, aiming to meet or exceed net revenue targets.
  • Analyzes the Hong Kong Contract Logistics market and competitive landscape to deliver efficient transportation solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Acquires, retains, and nurtures customers through proactive sales activities, including scheduling face-to-face meetings as outlined by inside sales.
  • Evaluates prospective accounts for profitability and strategic importance to secure winning bids.
  • Builds rapport and trust with customers by staying informed about their business operations and market trends.
  • Enhances customer retention by collaborating with all resources, including Operations teams and Global and Regional sales channels.
  • Focuses on increasing gross profit and market share while fostering ongoing relationships with new clients.
  • Implements strategic sales initiatives in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Develops and executes strategies and tactics to meet or surpass established targets.
  • Utilizes CRM tools to identify, contact, and track prospects to secure key business and strategic opportunities.
  • Recommends solutions based on the specific needs of customers, leveraging industry expertise.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hunting role within the 3PL or related industry; candidates with less experience may be considered for junior positions.
  • Excellent persuasion skills, strong work ethic, integrity, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Proven experience in negotiation and sales strategies.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Values diversity and promotes an inclusive work environment.
  • Capable of establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in conflict resolution, decision-making, and strategic planning.
  • Good understanding of Contract Logistics and supply chain, including Solutions Design.
  • Achieves results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives.
  • Able to make independent decisions creatively and effectively, while planning and prioritizing proactively.
