Job Function

Providing strategic and operational leadership to the regional sales and service teams within company's Industrial Businesses. This role focuses on executing strategies that drive revenue, profitability, and market growth to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop a commercial strategy and annual sales plan for the region that meets or exceeds sales and profitability targets.
  2. Manage both the direct sales team and agents by establishing effective KPIs, metrics, and processes to optimize team performance and pipeline management. 
  3. Deliver comprehensive monthly analyses and reports on regional sales performance against quarterly and annual budgets, including action plans to achieve and surpass goals.
  4. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and development of a high-quality Sales & Support organization, including both employees and agents.
  5. Ensure that the sales and service teams cultivate, maintain, and enhance business relationships with all customers.
  6. Identify and target new customers and sales opportunities, initiating action plans to secure new business.
  7. Lead the development of market plans to penetrate new markets.
  8. Provide regional leadership on go-to-market strategies for new products.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Marketing Department to assist in the creation and implementation of marketing plans.
  10. Offer timely updates to senior management regarding market performance and competitive dynamics.
  11. Travel within the region is required.

  3. Analytical Skills: Identifies emerging opportunities and leverages market insights to create business cases with measurable outcomes, adept at structuring and processing both qualitative and quantitative data to draw insightful conclusions.
  4. Leadership: Takes initiative and introduces new ideas. Engages and motivates the team to achieve and exceed objectives.
  5. Talent Acquisition: Effectively sources and selects high-performing individuals to join the company.
  6. People Development: Coaches team members to enhance current performance and prepares them for future roles.
  7. A university degree in a technical or business field is required; an MBA is preferred.
  8. Fluent in English and Chinese (both verbal and written).
