Boarding Officer

A leading global maritime solutions provider is seeking a Boarding Officer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all vessels, including international cruises, ensuring compliance with pre-arrival and departure requirements in the region.
  • Manages and coordinates with subcontractors, surveyors, consignees, and other local parties involved in vessel and cargo operations, including bunkering, crew changes, medical assistance, spare parts delivery, and Cash-To-Master services.
  • Prepares and submits port disbursement accounts for reimbursement to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provides regular updates on work progress to relevant stakeholders, including principals, owners, and company management.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of a diploma in a relevant field or higher.
  • At least 2 years of shore-based experience in the shipping or operations sector.
  • General knowledge of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
  • Strong customer orientation with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
