Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager (Regional / Chainsaw)

About

Our client is the global leader in the chainsaw manufacturing industry. Along with their business expansion, they are currently looking to welcome a new Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager to take on a regional role covering Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with travelling with a proven track record in sales. B2B sales experience in a different industry are welcome to apply.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with distributors and dealers to position products as the top choice for customers.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers within key accounts for mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Analyze sales performance within channel partners and create action plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Create and implement business proposals, including market potential, contact lists, competitive analysis, and action plans.
  • Coordinate resources and align priorities to support ambitious growth in Southeast Asia and APAC.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Sourcing) to identify and assess new opportunities.
  • Lead challenging negotiations on contracts and pricing with customers.
  • Contribute to the annual operating plan and long-term business planning.
  • Use data analytics to support monthly, quarterly, and annual product forecasts.

Requirements

  • University degree in business, marketing, or engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing sales, especially in distributor and dealer management.
  • Strong understanding of managing distributor relationships and project management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in providing product training and demonstrations for distributors and dealers.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on meeting sales targets and commitments.
  • Knowledgeable in CRM software and reporting tools such as Excel, Sales Force, and SAP BW would be an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within APAC region
