Key Account Manager - FMCG

Position Summary

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the relationship with Manning & Watson, our primary key account. This role is dedicated to ensuring that all sales and marketing strategies are executed effectively, with a focus on managing risks and identifying opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to develop tailored promotional activities, manage account-related spending, and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders at Manning & Watson.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the growth and development of the Manning & Watson account, ensuring that sales targets are met and strategic objectives are achieved.
  • Manage the full spectrum of the accounts needs, from sales growth to risk management.
  • Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with key stakeholders at Manning & Watson, ensuring alignment on business objectives and priorities.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager, Brand team, and eCommerce team to plan and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to Manning & Watson, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of promotional activities, ensuring alignment with account objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Brand, and eCommerce, to develop and implement account-specific initiatives that align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management, specifically in FMCG or retail sectors.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies, with a focus on large retail accounts.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with senior stakeholders in key accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Ability to manage budgets and promotional spending effectively.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly in sales and marketing.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and highly organized with a focus on achieving targets.
