Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet the organization’s needs.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Ensure procurement practices align with company policies and financial objectives.
- Monitor market trends to anticipate price changes and supply chain challenges.
- Oversee the procurement of goods and services, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Manage and maintain purchasing records, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage budgets and track expenditures.
- Handle any issues related to product quality, discrepancies, or logistics with suppliers.
- Train, supervise, and mentor purchasing staff to enhance team performance and efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Min 7 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role with a demonstrated track record in procurement and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
- Strong proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
