Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Ensure procurement practices align with company policies and financial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate price changes and supply chain challenges.
  • Oversee the procurement of goods and services, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Manage and maintain purchasing records, reports, and documentation for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to manage budgets and track expenditures.
  • Handle any issues related to product quality, discrepancies, or logistics with suppliers.
  • Train, supervise, and mentor purchasing staff to enhance team performance and efficiency.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Min 7 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role with a demonstrated track record in procurement and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
