Our client is an upcoming educational consultancy firm based in Singapore, specializing in consulting students aiming for admission to top overseas boarding schools in the US, UK, Switzerland, and other countries. They are hiring for an Education Consultant to advise families on educational planning and guide students through the admission process to prestigious institutions globally.

Responsibilities

  • Education Planning: Advise families on educational paths and corresponding planning and application strategies.
  • Admission Counseling: Counsel families toward admission into top overseas independent day and boarding schools.
  • Case Management: Manage students’ entire application process, including strategic positioning, school selection, profile building, test preparation, academic mentoring, and recommendation advisory.
  • Operational Support: Manage data collection, document verification, test registration, logistics planning, application submission, school enrolment, and visa applications.
  • Interview Training & Essay Coaching: Conduct practice interviews with students; help refine and review students’ personal statements.
  • Info Sessions & Seminars: Organize school info sessions, family sharing sessions, and prepare seminar content and slides.
  • Prospect Follow-up: Maintain regular contact with prospective clients and provide ongoing support.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze admission and student enrolment trends and support business changes based on insights.

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record; overseas exposure is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in education consultancy, student services, or a similar field. Strong knowledge of the admission and student recruitment processes.
  • Language: Fluency in English; a second/third Asian language would be beneficial.
  • Personality: You should be thoughtful, articulate, analytical, and able to think creatively. Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments is key.
  • Aptitude: Quick learners, multitaskers, and those with a can-do attitude will succeed in this role.
  • Character: A mature yet fun, kind, collaborative, and accountable individual who enjoys fostering relationships and mentoring the next generation.
