Merchandising Manager
Our client is global leading distributor of activewear, casual apparel, and accessories. They are currently looking for an outstanding Merchandising Manager (Shoes, Apparel & Accessories) to join the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company’s brand identity and customer preferences.
- Analyse market trends and customer data to create optimal product assortments that drive sales and meet customer needs.
- Establish pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive within the market.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing stock to minimize excess while ensuring product availability.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to coordinate product launches and promotional activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and make informed merchandising decisions.
- Manage and mentor the merchandising team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to inform merchandising strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in wholesale or retail industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
