Merchandising Manager

Our client is global leading distributor of activewear, casual apparel, and accessories. They are currently looking for an outstanding Merchandising Manager (Shoes, Apparel & Accessories) to join the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with the company’s brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Analyse market trends and customer data to create optimal product assortments that drive sales and meet customer needs.
  • Establish pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive within the market.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecasting demand, and optimizing stock to minimize excess while ensuring product availability.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to coordinate product launches and promotional activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate terms and ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Analyse sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Manage and mentor the merchandising team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to inform merchandising strategies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in wholesale or retail industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Strong proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
