Key Account Manager / Key Account Assistant Manager

They are currently looking for an outstanding Key Account Manager / Key Account Assistant Manager to join the company

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic accounts, acting as the key liaison between customers and the company's network to build strong relationships.
  • Analyse customer needs to design tailored solutions and implement strategic business development plans that align with company goals.
  • Propose improvements to meet customer expectations based on their KPIs and SOPs.
  • Identify new business opportunities to expand our offerings with current and prospective clients.
  • Conduct regular review sessions to update customers on strategies and refine our value proposition.
  • Establish SOPs and maintain effective communication with customers and overseas counterparts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to drive operational excellence.
  • Manage RFQs and tenders, ensuring competitive pricing and services.
  • Facilitate connections among virtual account teams and share best practices.
  • Monitor performance metrics, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure smooth transitions of new business into operations to meet customer commitments.
  • Serve as a super user of management systems and provide training to end users.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Holds a university degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience in account management, with a proven track record in managing global/key accounts and leading a team.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in e-commerce, freight forwarding, and supply chain management; familiarity with contract logistics is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; task-oriented with proficiency in presentation and negotiation techniques.
  • Demonstrates a high level of ownership and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Possesses strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Putonghua, and Cantonese.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
