Job Description
Key responsibility
- Responsible for evaluating, implementing and sustaining technology strategies and solutions, with focus on Infrastructure and IT Security.
- Oversee and lead the IT Helpdesk team in providing end-user support and desktop administration for all stakeholders, including VIP users.
- Manage software and hardware inventory, ensuring effective procurement aligned with asset strategy and lifecycle management.
- Supervise the installation, upgrades, and configuration of hardware, software, and related technologies.
- Maintain an internal knowledge base that includes technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Incorporate system and information security into the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology solutions, particularly for end-user applications.
Requirements
- A university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience across various areas, including IT end-user service delivery, team management, Microsoft Office 365 administration and support, end-user hardware and software management, and Windows platform upgrades. Experience with networks, firewalls, and IT security is a plus.
- Proficient in outsourcing and vendor management.
- Strong project management and IT service management skills.
- Certifications in Microsoft products, networking, IT security, PMP, or ITIL are advantageous.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement, capable of driving changes that add value to the business.
- Independent, self-motivated, and innovative, with strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Cantonese.
