Company Profile
Our client is a leading event and exhibition organizer originally from the UAE. In view of their expansion plan in Singapore, they are currently looking to welcome a new Sales Director to strategize, conceptualize, lead and manage the overall sales and revenue delivery of the full portfolio of their events & exhibitions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and enhance the performance, standards, and best practices of all sales teams to achieve strategic and financial targets.
- Pitch new and existing exhibitions, staying informed about industry developments and competitive exhibitions to source new ideas.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to the sales team, developing new sales initiatives for maximum client retention and acquisition.
- Manage and expand the exhibition database, identifying and managing new and existing agents for the shows.
- Develop sponsorship and non-space revenue opportunities, liaising with government trade bodies for new market exhibitors.
- Handle floor plan management, budget control, and ensure the achievement of revenue and NOP targets.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for all sales promotions, developing CRM programs for key target groups, and implementing key account management strategies.
Requirements
- Formal qualification in a business, and or sales management degree or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 7 years sales experience in the exhibitions industry and the ability to remain updated on the latest industry market knowledge.
- Sales driven and sense of responsibility on financial targets
